Laser inscription
Match your diamond and its certificate
The fastest way to make sure that your diamond corresponds to its certificate is by having it laser inscribed with the identification number of your HRD Antwerp certificate. The laser inscription is a microscopic marking created by a laser beam on the diamond's surface - mostly the girdle or the table.
Safe laser technology
To laser inscribe diamonds, HRD Antwerp uses high-quality excimer short-wave technology, which involves an extremely precise system that does not cause any damage to the diamond, nor influence its quality. The laser inscription can only be seen with a jeweller's 10x magnifying loupe. It cannot be seen with the naked eye and consequently does not affect the diamond's physical appearance or value.
Personalise your diamond
The HRD Antwerp laser technology can also be used to customise your diamond. With the high-tech equipment used by HRD Antwerp, it is perfectly possible to engrave even the most intricate logos and symbols, or to produce text in sophisticated fonts. Logos and text are reproduced on the accompanying certificate exactly like they appear on the diamond itself. In addition, once HRD Antwerp has your logo on file, it can be reserved so that only you or the parties empowered by you can obtain this inscription.
